MUDr. Jiřina Kosová

MUDr. Kosová works at Unicare as a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist. She graduated from the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in 1994 and completed postgraduate studies in Neurosciences. She holds board certifications in Psychiatry (Level I and II) and Psychotherapy. In addition to her role at Unicare, she is Head Doctor of the Psychotherapy Unit and Day Care Centre at the National Institute for Mental Health (formerly the Prague Psychiatric Centre) and serves as an Assistant at the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University. Outside her regular duties, she is actively involved in teaching and consulting, organizing the management of research and studies in Psychiatry and Psychology. In her psychotherapeutic work, she specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy with a focus on treating anxiety and depression. She is a member of the Czech Medical Chamber, the Czech Neuropsychopharmacology Society, the Czech Psychiatric Society, and the Cognitive-Behavioral Society, where she also serves as a board member. She is fluent in Czech and English.
